Kedar Sohoni is a B.Tech from IIT Bombay and a PGDM from IIM Lucknow. He started his career with Nestle but soon became an entrepreneur and built research and analytics companies.

Kedar volunteered at his own society and implemented waste segregation and on-site composting and that’s when he understood the waste management problem in more detail.

He set up Green Communities Foundation in 2017, and its current focus areas are Rural Waste Management and ward level waste management programmes in Mumbai.

He is a Consultant to Stree Mukti Sanghatana (SMS).
