Siraj Bhattacharya is the Chief Operating Officer of GemCorp Recycling & Technologies, a subsidiary of Belgium-based Gemini Corporation NV. With over 27 years of experience across Sterlite, Vedanta, Finolex, and Shemar Power, he specialises in operations, business development, advocacy, and governance.

Since January 2024, he has led GemCorp’s India operations, focusing on profitability, circularity, and robust EPR-based traceability systems. His strong institutional background has enabled him to position GemCorp as the key recycling partner for major FMCG and e-commerce brands, where Gemcorp collects their plastic waste and provides them with upcycled products for reuse and repurposing.
